Cell‐Membrane‐Derived Nanoparticles with Notch‐1 Suppressor Delivery Promote Hypoxic Cell–Cell Packing and Inhibit Angiogenesis Acting as a Two‐Edged Sword (Adv. Mater. 40/2021)

چکیده
Cancer Therapy A two-edged-sword strategy for anticancer and chondroprotective treatment is approached by combining two key players, as reported Mi-Lan Kang, Hak-Joon Sung, co-workers in article number 2101558. Cell-membrane-derived nanoparticles (CMNPs) induce hypoxic cell–cell packing seen commonly cancer growth chondrogenesis. Notch-1 suppressor display on CMNPs inhibits angiogenesis efficiently, thereby promoting prochondrogenesis simultaneously. This study suggests an unprecedented therapeutic laryngeal which damages cartilage progressively.

متن کاملDesign and evaluate alginate nanoparticles as a protein delivery system
In recent years, encapsulation of drugs and antigens in hydrogels, specifically in calcium alginate particles, is an interesting and practical technique that was developed widespread. It is well known that alginate solution, under proper conditions, can form suitable nanoparticles as a promising carrier system, for vaccine delivery. The aim of this study was to synthesis alginate nanoparticles ...
متن کاملMetamaterials: Snapping Mechanical Metamaterials under Tension (Adv. Mater. 39/2015).
By exploiting snap-through instabilities, D. Pasini and co-workers design a damage-tolerant mechanical metamaterial that snaps sequentially under tension, thereby accommodating a very large deformation up to 150%. On page 5931, they describe how the nonlinear mechanical response of the metamaterial can be robustly programmed by tuning the architecture of its unit cell.

متن کاملEndothelial 3 Integrin–Targeted Fumagillin Nanoparticles Inhibit Angiogenesis in Atherosclerosis
Objective—Angiogenic expansion of the vasa vasorum is a well-known feature of progressive atherosclerosis, suggesting that antiangiogenic therapies may stabilize or regress plaques. 3 Integrin–targeted paramagnetic nanoparticles were prepared for noninvasive assessment of angiogenesis in early atherosclerosis, for site-specific delivery of antiangiogenic drug, and for quantitative follow-up of ...
